Our classic loafers are crafted from genuine box leather, which will naturally stretch and conform to your feet over time. This means that with each wear, your loafers will become increasingly comfortable, molding to the unique shape of your feet. Other styles in our collection—such as sandals, boots, moccasins, and sneakers—will maintain their true size, unless otherwise specified on the product page.

Yes, depending on the fabrication of the shoe, fit may vary.

Premium leather - tends to stretch and mold to the shape of your feet over time due to its natural properties. Leather is a flexible material that adjusts to pressure and movement, which is why it gradually becomes more comfortable as it breaks in.

Suede - tends to be more flexible and stretchier than premium box leather because it is softer and thinner. The lack of a lining in suede allows it to be more pliable, meaning it can stretch more easily over time to fit the shape of your foot. On the other hand, box leather, being thicker and more rigid, doesn't stretch as much or mold to the foot in the same way.

Tweed - loafers made of tweed run true to size.

Wearing socks during the initial wears of our leather loafers can help speed up the break-in process and encourage the leather to mold more comfortably to the shape of your feet. The socks provide a layer of padding, which allows the shoes to gradually stretch and adapt without causing discomfort.

It’s true that socks can take up a bit of extra space in the shoe, which might make the loafers feel slightly snugger at first. However, this is actually beneficial in the long run, as it helps the leather stretch and adjust to your foot's shape more effectively. Just be mindful of the snugness—if the loafers feel a bit tight initially, it’s normal, and they should loosen up and become more comfortable as they break in over time.

Once the shoes have molded to your feet, you can switch to wearing them without socks for a more relaxed fit.
